Jesi’s Online and In-Person Writing Workshops are designed for Writers of Color to develop their writing in a space free of white dominance and critique. When our work is out in the world, it is inevitably consumed by readers and listeners of all kinds. But developing that work in mixed groups can make the process of finding and developing voice, tone and even subject matter, more difficult.
Whether you are writing explicitly about race and identity, or you just want to develop your work in a space centered on your authentic voice, where it can arise truthfully and organically without white resistance or questioning, these circles are for you.
